One of the Nigeria’s emerging property developers and lifestyle home designers, Messrs Haven Homes, a subsidiary of Haven +Global Resources Limited, plans to showcase its property designs at its new office in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos next month.

The company specializes in creating homes that model after the rich, luxurious and western aristocratic homes and provides customers with ultra luxurious homes that offer unique and individual layouts, abundant natural light, mezzanine levels, galleries, bridges, atriums and roof terraces.

According to Managing Director, Haven Homes, Mr. Tayo Sonuga, “Every home we create is beautifully crafted work of art. The homes are exquisitely sculptured using modern architecture to artfully create a fine balance between brick and glass. The exterior spaces are delivered with the highest precision of sharp angles and are complemented with ornately arranged lights. The master bedrooms have been designed to be a private retreats in the home as it is designed with double volume spaces with private suspended galleries, double spa, private living room/study rooms on the upper floors while the lower floors house the super king sized bed, shower/water closet and wall in wardrobes.

He further disclosed “our atriums are strategically placed inside each home to import daylight from the roof to all interior spaces and circulate air in the process. The atriums transform homes to a place where sun, plants and other elements of nature join as one to form a unique tropical haven. The atriums are also lanterns at night with lighting design that forms a string of illumination running through the entire house.”

Sonuga said: “Our distinctive feature both internally and externally is our generous size of windows. It’s often an accepted practice to have dark corners inside standard buildings but with the generous array of panoramic windows, we have ensured there are no dark spaces and adequate ventilation within the home is assured.

He added “ Our urban sanctuaries are roof top terraces that we can include in our homes to compensate for having less grounds in areas where land is at as high premium. In order to avoid our customers paying dearly for a few extra square metres on ground, we’ve moved the playground to the roof, with natural view.”
