Efforts to complement government’s mass housing bid may have been boosted as property developers, Messrs UACN Property Development Company (UPDC) Plc have commenced work in its Metro City in the Federal Capital Territory.

The land, which covers a total of 11.17 hectares, is the fourth site where UPDC Plc has started works this year and located in the residential area of Apo Dutse, Abuja for development of a 242 housing estate.

The estate will consist of various categories of units such as five bedroom detached houses, four bedroom semi-detached Houses, four bedroom terraces, three bedroom bungalows, two and three bedroom flats.

According to a statement from UPDC’s Marketing Manager, Mrs. Titilayo Ajayi, UPDC, all the houses have designed to suit budgets for the different socio-economic classes of Nigerians with delivery of the houses in phases and target completion for the whole estate is December 2014.

Proposed facilities include family swimming pool, children’s playground, shopping arcade, soft landscape, ample parking lots for residents and visitors, event hall, borehole and water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant and alternative power supply.
