Ughelli North is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Delta state, Nigeria. Ughelli North LGA has its headquarters located at Ughelli, and is one of the oil producing areas of the state with at least 45 oil wells. With an area of 1440 square kilometres, it came into existence following the split of the defunct Ughelli LGA into North and South.
