Akpabuyo is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Cross River state, Nigeria. Akpabuyo became autonomous on Tuesday 27th August 1991, following its creation from the former Odukpani Local Government Area. It became the 14th and 589th Local Government Area in Cross River State and Nigeria respectively.
